A StarCraft 4th of July

StarCraft 2 Terran Battle Art

Hello, StarCraft fans!  I hope you all had a happy 4th of July yesterday.  And for those of you who don’t celebrate the 4th of July, I hope you still had a great Sunday!  My 4th of July was not like it usually is.  I tend to just wake up in the morning, play some video games, fire up the barbecue, enjoy good food with my family, and then watch some fireworks.

This year was considerably different, though.  I was working overnight on Saturday, straight into the 4th of July.  I was off the clock at 9:30 in the morning, I was home at 10.30, and I was asleep by 11:00.  I woke up around 4:00 PM, feeling well rested, and I had found that the barbecuing had been taken up by another member of my family.

Still feeling a little lazy, I turned on my computer and decided to get a little StarCraft into my day.  I only played for about an hour, but it was very satisfying, and I ended my game to the smell of hot dogs, burgers, chicken, and carne asada.  Good times indeed.

After eating tons of food, I went back to my computer and played some more StarCraft up until the fireworks started cracking.  It was a different 4th of July than what I’m used to, but it was still a good one.  I enjoyed it a lot, despite the fact that I am a creature of habit and I look doing the exact same thing every year.  I mean, any day with some considerable StarCraft gameage can’t be bad!  Hmm…  Maybe that’ll be a new tradition: StarCraft on the 4th of July.
