Now I know most of you are playing StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty by now. How are you all liking it so far? Yeah, I thought so too. I’m having a blast with it also. It’s strange how something can feel so new yet so familiar, isn’t it? Yeah, StarCraft II is definitely a golden little jewel. Actually, it’s a huge freaking jewel.
Since its launch, StarCraft II has been occupying hours upon hours of my time. I get my writing done to make a little money for rent, food, and gas, then I play StarCraft II. Of course I throw in some meals and showers into the mix. But I haven’t been doing much in my spare time other than playing StarCraft II. It’s even keeping me from going to bed early like I should be doing.
Certainly I’m not the only one who’s dedicating so much time to StarCraft II. For starters, a few of my friends are really into the game, and I believe they play it even more than I do. I hear people talking about it extensively on Facebook, forums, and on blogs. Mention of StarCraft II is literally everywhere these days.
I think it’s safe to say that that’s going to be the case for a very long time. People will talk about StarCraft II the way they did about the first StarCraft. Then it will only be a matter of time before fans everywhere start asking for a third installment. Good days are upon us, StarCraft fans! See you all on Battle.net!
