So I guess this is it, folks. The final countdown. Or more like the final chapter. I’ve been so busy these past couple of weeks that I haven’t been too involved in my usual routines and rituals. But now that I’m catching up on everything and I’m checking out all of the new updates on the StarCraft II website, I see that that which I feared just a few weeks ago has come to fruition: the final excerpt for William C. Dietz’s Heaven’s Devils has officially been posted.
I’ll admit it’s a bit saddening to see. But it is what it is, and in this business world, you can’t give away too much of a good thing for free. So it will only be a matter of time before I go to my local bookstore and get myself a copy of the enthralling action packed science fiction novel set in the world of StarCraft.
I’ll be sure to do a rundown of the last excerpt, and I’ll include my mini review here on StarCraft Fan for all of you to check out. I hope you enjoy it. And I really hope you’ve been reading the full excerpts up to this point. Heaven’s Devils is full of great storytelling, and it deserves its merits.
Video game novels are a confusing bunch. Sometimes they’re good, other times they leave much to be desired. From what I’ve read so far, Heaven’s Devils doesn’t leave anything to be desired and provides a gripping, engaging read. I sure as heck can’t wait to read the novel in its entirety. But first, I’m going to check out that final excerpt.
