The Next Chapter

I wasn’t sure whether to title this post ‘The StarCraft Farewell’ or ‘Out but Not Down.’ Ultimately, as you can see, I went with a completely different title altogether. It seems that my tenure here on StarCraft Fan has come to an end. Simply put, I’ll miss writing and ranting about my StarCraft happenings, reviewing short stories, and telling you all about how StarCraft is awesome (even though everyone knows that already).

But it’s one of those things you expect. I knew I’d only be writing here for a short amount of time, and to be quite honest, I thought I’d spend a lot less time writing for this wonderful site. What was supposed to be a five-week project ended up becoming a nice seven-month gig. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank those responsible for allowing me to share my writing with the world.

I would also like to thank you, the StarCraft Fan readers. I hope you found yourself entertained with my posts. I know I had fun writing them, so I really hope you all had just as much fun reading them. One of the coolest things about writing—for me, anyway—has been the whole “people everywhere get to read your work” thing.

So now what do I do? Well, I turn my focus to some of my other projects. As a freelance writer, I publish work on a number of sites. I have reviews featured on both small-scale and major gaming sites. I’ve got editorials written for local as well as international outlets. I’m a busy guy, and now that I’ve got an empty slot in my schedule, maybe I’ll kick it into overdrive for one or two of my other sites and just pump out the content.

Regardless of where I go from here, I’ll keep my eye on StarCraft Fan. I’ll see you on Battle.net!
